The Family Medicine Residency of Western Montana offers Family Medicine sub-internship rotations for fourth-year medical students. Rotation sites include Missoula or Kalispell, and consist of working with faculty and residents in the outpatient clinics at Partnership Health Center in Missoula or Flathead Community Health Center in Kalispell. Two- and four-week rotation options are offered. Two-week rotations are outpatient only, while four-week rotations are split between inpatient and outpatient care. Rotations are offered between August and January, with the most popular requests being in August and September. Having flexibility in your available dates may help increase the chance of being selected for a rotation.
The current Coronavirus-19 pandemic has created disruptions in clinical care and in medical education across the country. Please be aware that student rotations could change or be cancelled due to the pandemic.
