What brought you to Montana?
I was lucky enough to be born and raised in Western Montana. I graduated high school from the small town of Townsend in 2015, and have recently moved to the Flathead Valley.
Why did you choose to be part of the Family Medicine Residency of Western Montana?
Growing up in “small town Montana”, I understand, appreciate and 100% support the mission of FMRWM. To be a part of something that is driven to better my home state is a special feeling. Not only is the program great, but the people within the program are too.
What are your interests outside the University and FMRWM?
I love anything that has to do with the outdoors and time spent with my family – fishing, hiking, horseback riding. When I’m not doing any of those, you can usually find me trying to keep up with my toddler!
What do you love about Western Montana?
Everything! It is home for me. I love the kindness of the people, the never ending adventures, and the ability to go from shopping downtown to secluded in the mountains within 20 minutes.
What’s your favorite book?
I’m a sucker for a sappy love story – If I had to highlight one of my favorites it would probably be The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks
