Public Health Wellness Program

Since March 2020, the public health workforce has been front and center in directly addressing the impacts of COVID-19 to our Montana communities.  To support statewide public health staff during these difficult times, the Montana Public Health Training Center has developed a Public Health Wellness Program.  Throughout the remainder of the pandemic, the Training Center will be offering health coaching sessions, workshops, and other wellness activities to support the overall health of our public health workforce.

Program Aims:

  • To gain insight into the wellness needs of statewide health department staff
  • To support public health staff wellness needs through health coaching, self-care breaks, workshops, and other wellness activities, to prevent burnout.
