Geriatric Health Curriculum
Enhance your knowledge and skills related to providing health care for older adults by selecting from a variety of modules to meet your learning objectives! The MTGEC Geriatric Health Curriculum is presented online through the University of Montana’s online course platform called Moodle. If an individual does not have easy access to the internet or does not have an email address, a paper option can be selected.
The modules may be completed to advance personal and professional knowledge, or to satisfy professional continuing education/contact hour requirements. For the latter, appropriate professional organizations and state licensing boards have approved the modules. Graduate or undergraduate credit may be obtained from the University of Montana by enrolling in AHHS 425 Geriatric Health Issues. Academic credit requires admission to the University of Montana and is subject to university course registration fees.
Program enrollment fees are based on the type of certification you request. Enrollment provides unlimited access to the modules for a period of one year. Contact MTGEC to inquire about reduced rates for group registration.
- MTGEC General Certificate for continuing education/contact hours $50.00
- MTGEC Professional Certificate for continuing education credit/contact hours $75.00
