The overall goal of NACOE is to increase the number of American Indian/Alaska Native students and faculty in pharmacy, to improve the healthcare delivery to American Indian/Alaska Native populations through better professional preparation, and achieve cultural awareness for all pharmacy graduates. In order to achieve this goal, NACOE and Diversity Programs offer the following programs:
Pathway to Pharm.D. (P2PD) a summer pre-matriculation program that summarizes the first year of pharmacy school for incoming pharmacy students (P1).
Skaggs Scholars is funded by the ALSAM Foundation; providing vital financial support to American Indian/Alaskan Native and other under-represented minorities who are Skaggs School of Pharmacy professional students.
