MPHA Practicum Opportunities

Hey Students!  Need to complete a practicum for you MPH program?  Interested in learning how public heath works in the “real world”?

The Montana Public Health Association is excited to announce the launch of its new website feature: MPH student practicum opportunities.  With this feature, we hope to connect current graduate students in public health with public health departments across the state of Montana.

Local, State, and Tribal Health Departments, etc. will have the opportunity to design and post practicum opportunities that will help them increase capacity for activities like public health accreditation, and give students the opportunity to experience public health as it happens across our state on a daily basis.

Students can browse practicum opportunities at http://www.mtpha.com/?page=practicum4 and contact health departments to find out more information and how to apply.  MPHA is offering student scholarships of up to $500, for some of the practicum opportunities.  Please see the practicum listing to determine if there is a scholarship is associated with that practicum.
