GradCon Spring 2016

The UM Graduate Conference (GradCon) was held in the University Center Ballroom on Thursday April 14, 2016. GradCon is an interdisciplinary Graduate Conference that welcomes presentations from all disciplines and departments.

Graduate students were allowed to submit a maximum of one single oral or poster presentation for the conference. Presentations included a portion of a thesis or dissertation or a successful seminar or course paper. Presentation of talks or posters previously presented elsewhere was also allowed to be presented.

9:40 am Heather Murray (Kair Harris - Mentor) Addressing Barriers to Childhood Vaccination Through Community Partnership.

1:00 pm Amy Stiffarm Tall Bull (Kari Harris - Mentor) Developing Community Partnerships to Promote Breastfeeding on the Flathead Indian Reservation.

1:20 pm Mandi Zanto (Kari Harris - Mentor) Evaluating Montana's Baby Friendly Hospital Initiative.

2:00 pm Elizabeth Rolle (Kari Harris - Mentor) Adult Day Services:  Quality Care for All.

Dr Kari Harris also acted as Mentor to Julia Malich, who presented in the Oral Session at 9:20 am - Partnership to Prevent Childhood Obesity on a Native American Reservtion: Study to Emnhance Communication with Parents/Guardians and Community Members.
