Dr. Erin Semmens
In addition to her work as an environmental epidemiologist, Dr. Semmens is partnering with Montana tribal communities to identify strategies for addressing neonatal opioid withdrawal syndrome (NOWS). Dr. Semmens was recently awarded a pilot grant from the American Indian / Alaskan Native Clinical and Translational Research Program to further develop partnerships and preliminary data to address this important child health issue that disproportionately impacts tribal and rural communities in Montana.
