Advising

Before submitting an application it is critically important that you are clear about the details of the application process; the prerequisite courses you need, timelines for application submission, observation hours and recommendations among a number of clarifications.  If you have questions regarding the application process or the School, please follow the steps below:

  1. Read the Admission requirements that follow this Advising section;
  2. Read the FAQ to see if your questions are resolved;
  3. Email the program at physical.therapy@umontana.edu with any additional questions (be specific!) you may have;

Students Attending UM

You may add pre-physical therapy (PPPT) as a second major (not a primary major), providing you with Email messages from the program about scheduling of group advising meets as well as meetings of the Physical Therapy Student Association.

The program will schedule group advising sessions both autumn and spring semesters.  Every September a meeting is scheduled for all UM juniors, seniors, and post-baccalaureate students planning on completing the admission process in the following two years.  In early October and early April, meetings are scheduled for students planning on making application to the program in the future.
