Welcome to CFSD's webpage for training and professional development! To meet CFSD's commitment to Montana's children and families it is important that you have continual access to state-of-the-art educational resources to help you meet the complex needs of the children, youth, and families. This webpage provides training modules, educational videos, and resources on relevant topics. It also provides links to educational resources that are helpful to families who need help caring for their children.

Training Modules (CFSD New Employees)

MCAN New Employee training is transitioning over to a new system for ease of use.  If you have already entered our training modules using the other system please continue your training through the old link.  We will continue to track your progress and make sure your supervisor knows your completion date.

If you are new to MCAN, New Employee training, your enrollment will be handled through DPHHS. If you have any questions, please contact your Training Development Supervisor.

Training Modules (CFSD Supervisors)

Welcome to the Child and Family Services Division’s Supervisory Training Program. As a supervisor, you play a vital role in Child Welfare in Montana by ensuring that effective and efficient child welfare services are provided to children and families in a timely and respectful way. This training was developed to help you complete this important work, which so greatly impacts children and families.
